Witness Statement:

It was in the 70's and my Mom's friend and his friends were riding their bikes out in the strip mined area near Farmington, Illinois and they heard and awful screaming and something, banging on heavy metal, when they got closer, it was screaming and beating on the sides of the scoop like crazy and they got scared and ran off when the thing got far enough out of the scoop to get out and it looked right at them they said it looked like a man covered in hair all over like a gorilla.
